ARTICLE 1 – OCCUPANCY CONDITIONS

Unless otherwise stated, the maximum number of people per room is two.
Under no case may the number of people occupying the property exceed the maximum occupancy of the property. This maximum occupancy is specified in the rental contract signed at the time of booking.
Children under 2 years old who sleep in a crib are not counted but must be mentioned to the agency at the time of booking.
The Tenant and other occupants of the property, for whom the Tenant is considered responsible, warrant to have acceptable and decent behaviour and agree to respect the rented premises and its equipment, return them in the same condition, and not cause any nuisance to the neighbourhood. The tenant agrees to comply with the internal rules of the domain. Sub-letting is forbidden.
The Tenant undertakes to provide free access to the property at any time to the person in charge of the maintenance and proper functioning of the house.

ARTICLE 2 – SWIMMING POOL SAFETY

Where applicable, the swimming pool of the rented premises is equipped with a security system in accordance with articles 1281 and 1282 of the French Construction Code.
Therefore, the Tenant and other occupants of the property undertake to leave this alarm in operation throughout their stay.
They also make themselves fully aware that, even when in operation, the alarm is in no way a substitute for their vigilance regarding the supervision they must provide for their child(ren) or any other person(s).

ARTICLE 3 – CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in at the property will be from 5 p.m., check-out from the property must be before 10 a.m. (unless prior agreement from the agency).

ARTICLE 4 – RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

The Tenant agrees to pay a deposit of an amount equal to 30% of the rental amount at the time of booking.
The reservation will only be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit by the Agency. The balance will be paid before the deadline indicated in the property advertisement.
For reservations made within the balance payment limit indicated in the property advertisement, the Tenant must pay the total cost of the rental at the time of booking.
No reservation will be considered confirmed until the Agency has received the deposit, and the rental contract has been signed.
If the balance is not received before the deadline indicated in the property advertisement, the Agency reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
This cancellation will result in the loss of the deposit by the Tenant.

Cancellation conditions :

Cancellation conditions are specific to each property and are indicated in the corresponding advert.
Any changes to the rental conditions caused by the client (no show, early departure, etc.), for any reason, remain the exclusive responsibility of the client who cannot claim any compensation for this.
In the event of non-arrival, the entire stay will be charged.
Please note that if the tenant does not show up on the day of their confirmed arrival, this will be considered as a cancellation of the entire stay and the agency will be free to re-rent the property.

ARTICLE 5 – SECURITY DEPOSIT

The Agency will take a deposit from the Tenant to cover any possible damage that may occur during their stay in the property.
In the event of damage caused to the property by the Tenant or other occupants during their stay, the Tenant will have the cost of repairs deducted from the deposit, plus a 5% processing fee.
If the Tenant notices some damage to the property upon arrival, he must immediately notify the Agency.

ARTICLE 6 – HOUSEHOLD

Unless otherwise stated in the villa description, cleaning is done every 7 days. It is included in the rent. Bath towels and bed linens are also changed during this cleaning.
IMPORTANT: Household does not include cleaning of personal belongings.

ARTICLE 7 – ACCOMMODATION RATES

Accommodation rates are quoted per week, in euros (including VAT), whatever the number of people staying in the house, within the maximum occupancy of the property.
A minimum stay of 7 nights is required, shorter stay on request.
Rates are subject to change without notice.

ARTICLE 8 – RESPONSABILITY FOR PERSONAL EFFECTS AND BELONGINGS.

The Tenant and other occupants of the property are entirely responsible for their personal belongings.

Neither the Agency nor the owner can be held responsible for any loss, damage or theft of said objects and/or personal effects.

ARTICLE 9 – INSURANCE

We recommend that the Tenant take out cancellation insurance to cover any risk relating to his trip (flight cancellation, delay, loss of luggage, etc.).
Neither the Agency nor the owner can be held responsible in the event of problems relating to the Tenant’s travel or other occupants of the property such as those mentioned above.

ARTICLE 10 – COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES

If the Tenant encounters a problem in the villa during his stay, he must notify the Agency immediately.
Only complaints recorded by the Agency during the Tenant’s stay will be taken into consideration.
The Tenant agrees that this contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with French law with respect to any claim against the Agency.
In the event of a dispute, the competent court is the Draguignan Court.
